How can a bathroom be cleaned naturally?
If you want to clean your bathroom in a natural way, you should use natural ingredients. For example, if you want to make your own all-purpose cleaner in a spray bottle, combine three cups of fresh lemon juice, a third cup of Borax or baking soda, a few teaspoons of vinegar and two cups of water. Put this in your spray bottle and proceed to clean the bathtub, inside and outside of toilet and the faucet and sink. One thing you must do to clean the bathroom is to remove the portable laundry basket and the dirty bathroom rugs and shower curtains so you can wash those.
Now you should proceed with washing the shower, and this is the toughest part of cleaning the bathroom. Take your homemade all-purpose cleaner and some non-toxic cleanser and scrub the shower head thoroughly and also scrub the inside of the tub with the cleanser and oxygen bleach, which is considered more eco-friendly than chlorine bleach. You would perform the same procedure with the bathroom sink and faucets.
It is also good to sweep and mop the bathroom every two to three weeks because you want to reduce bacteria and dirt buildup on the bathroom floors. Also keep in mind the kind of flooring you have when mopping the floor. If you have stone tiles, a special cleaning solution would work but generally your homemade all-purpose cleaner is sufficient.
Finally, you want to spray some air freshener throughout the bathroom after you clean it. Then place new shower curtains and a new bathroom rug in front of the tub.
